Morning thoughts of Silly Goose

Happy Tuesday, everyone!

This morning I’ve seen several posts on Facebook about helping someone in need, picking up the tab somewhere just to be nice, and tipping double when out at a restaurant. Reading these posts makes my heart so happy! As someone whose heart breaks seeing people struggle, I am elated to know that there are still so many good people in the world.

Here’s my challenge for each of you:

Go out of your way to do something, anything, nice for someone. Let someone go first at a stop sign, let someone in front of you in line, compliment someone who is not wearing a smile. I’d love to hear what my flock is up to and hear where your beautiful hearts led you!

Leave a comment and tell me what good deed you’ve done recently that filled your heart with joy or gave you that warm and fuzzy feeling inside.

As always, STAY SILLY!

  1. I went to church with your sister and I had some cash on me. While sitting in church, I looked around and wondered if anyone in the congregation was struggling and could really use the extra cash (after I tithe) I had. Well, after church I was talking with a lady and Bryanna when they started talking about an upcoming women’s conference. The lady mentioned how she was financially burdened and couldn’t afford to attend the conference. I knew right then that was the moment I was looking for.
We talked about how to get the church or someone to sponsor her to go. I gave her $40. She was so thankful, she cried. I went home and then…

I find out that your sister paid her way to go to the conference and she was able to buy an outfit with the money I gave her! I got pictures of them both there and looking beautiful! Blessings never end!

I don’t usually get to see how my kindness blesses others but in this case I got to see the next step in the many blessings to come.

This is definitely a feel good kinda story!!
